Ornamental Gourds

These are such a fun, novel addition to any garden producing plenty of gourds per vine that are a great talking point. They also make wonderful ornamental additions to tablescapes and installations.

Flower size: individual flowers are approximately 8cm in diameter and gourds range from 10cm - 20cm in size

Plant height: 200cm

Position: Full sun

Growing advice: . Sow seeds in pots or sow direct 15mm deep from September to January. Seeds germinate within 7-21 days. Transplant out once 2 sets of true leaves appear and space approximately 90cm apart. They do need a trellis or support to grow up
