Anemone Azzuro

The petals of Azzuro range from a light purple to a deeper mauve colour that almost appears to glow. A fabulous addition to any winter garden

With a fantastic vase life of 10 days, Anemones are one of the staples of any cool season cut flower garden. They will continue to "grow" in the vase getting taller and opening more on a daily basis. Plant from March to May

Flower size: 10cm

Plant height: 50cm

Position: Full sun

Growing advice: soak the corms in water for 4-6 hours prior to planting. From there, you can either plant out directly in their final position, or pre-sprout the corms. If you are pre-sprouting, place in a tray of soil with the pointed ends facing down and cover with 1cm soil. Keep damp but not wet and keep in a cool, dark place ideally below 15 degrees. Once you can see the growing shoots, transplant out to their final position in full sun.
